Life at a miniature yard

The little fictional yard Stal Wollepluis is surrounded by forest and fields and is home to a small herd of lovely British model horses, that live a humble but sometimes rather adventurous life!

Our dear Badger and Paddington live in the ‘old stables’, right next to the cottage. It’s big enough for two Julips and far away enough from the feedroom to discourage them from any escapades! It’s close to the little livestock barn and Badger and Paddington like to play around in the large live stock paddock, together with the ducks and bunnies. The other horses and ponies reside in the ‘old barn’. It’s connected to two lovely grooming bays and close to the tackroom. Behind their barn is a shed, vegetable garden – that’s where the carrots come from – and a little greenhouse. The yard is surrounded by a number of large fields. One of them holds a few cross country jumps. There’s also an outdoor arena and a lunging circle.

Stal Wollepluis is home to a lovely lot of cherished 1/12th scale Julips Originals. We also have four dogs – Bear, Charlie Gus and Bob, a pair of bunnies, some hedgehogs and a flock of chickens and ducks. And then there’s the friendly fox, Mr. Pumblechook, who visits our yard every now and then. But that’s not all. A great yard can’t be run without some kind and caring people. Tommy, Maisie, May, Jimmy and Deirdre take care of the Julips and Henry and John make sure the Reynolds and Montague ponies stay happy and sweet.

If you’d like to learn more about the different ponies, pets and people living at our yard, have a look under ‘Equines‘. Under ‘Stories‘ you’ll soon be able to find photo more about this yard’s adventures and under ‘Blog‘ you can read everything about miniature crafting, my newest additions and other things that are just nice to know!
